in Houston, Texas
June 2002: Acquire all assets of Unique Travel,
one of the leading providers of travel services to immigrants
living in USA.
January 2003: Taking advantage of the globalization
offered by the emerging technologies, getTickets starts its
off-shore operating center in Karachi, Pakistan
July 2006: Sign affiliate agreement with
a reservation engine to start online booking services at getLeisure.com
August 2007: getTickets takes the strategic
decision to convert from an offline to an online travel services
company. The company acquires 35 domains representing fast
growing travel destinations including getIndiaVacation.com
December 2007: getTickets reaches a new milestone
by crossing US$ 10 million mark in accumulated sales.
January 2008: Launch of India web site www.getIndiaVacation.com.
The site provides complete travel solution including hotels,
rent a car, vacation packages and airline tickets. The site
also feature a community area to share your travel experience
with others.
February 2008: Dubai is one of the top travel
destinations in the world. getTickets launched its Dubai site
in February www.getDubaiTickets.com.
One of the special feature of the site is Dubai desert safari
vacations.
March 2008: Europe is the favored destination
of North American travelers. getTickets launched its Europe
site in March www.getEuropeTickets.com
May 2008: USA is one of the largest travel
markets in the world. Our www.getUSAHotels.com
and www.getUSATickets.com
will serve our US customers.
June 2008: England is considered one of the
most visited travel destinations by USA visitors. getTickets
launched its UK web site in June www.getUKHotels.com
June 2008: Hotels are a special travel need
and we launched our world travel web site in June www.getWorldHotels.com.
